Intellectual Property Workshop: Greg Dolin--Dubious Patent Reform

Location: Eck Hall of Law, Room 2172

Greg Dolin, University of Baltimore School of Law, will present Dubious Patent Reform at Notre Dame Law School on November 10. The 2011 America Invents Act sought to improve the American patent system by creating new procedures for reviewing already issued patents. Professor Gregory Dolin argues that, in crafting this legislation, Congress failed to heed the lessons of history and, as a result, created the potential for serious and systematic abuses.  Students and faculty are invited to Professor Dolin's presentation and a discussion of patent reform to follow.

Sponsored by the Program on Law and Market Behavior (LAMB).
