LAMB Fellow Professor Nicole Garnett Appointed to the John P. Murphy Foundation Professorship

Professor Nicole Garnett has been appointed to the Notre Dame Law School's John P. Murphy Foundation Professorship. Professor Garnett is a LAMB faculty fellow and her teaching and research focuses on property, land use, urban development, local government law, and education policy. The Murphy Foundation, established by the late John Murphy (’12), created this professorship specifically for scholars whose teaching and research emphasize morality and ethics. For John’s service as president of the Notre Dame Alumni Association and a University Trustee, he was presented with an honorary doctor of laws degree.
