Professor Avishalom Tor was one of the speakers at a workshop on Applying Behavioural Insights to Consumer and Competition Policy hosted by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris on April 14.
He was one of the speakers on the panel, "Behavioural insights: a policy and enforcement tool for better consumer and competition outcomes."
This workshop was an invitation-only, high-level international event that was co-organised by the OECD Committee on Consumer Policy and the Competition Committee. The workshop discussed applying behavioural insights to competition and consumer policy and enforcement. The workshop built on both committees’ existing work on behavioural insights. Mathias Cormann, the Secretary-General, OECD, gave the keynote address.
